Animal Studies

Our Animal Studies Program includes training to become a Veterinary Assistant. This comprehensive training program consists of 5 non-credit courses that include a supervised clinical practicum, totaling 150 hours of training. Training begins in Fall 2014 and ends in April 2015. Classes must be successfully completed and taken consecutively to continue in the program. This course series will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level position in a veterinary hospital. Courses must be taken in order and upon successful completion of all the courses; you will receive a Continuing Education Certificate.
