Step aboard and settle in for a memorable journey to Morven Park, one of Virginia’s treasured historic landscapes, where rolling countryside, elegant architecture, and peaceful trails create the perfect escape. We’ll wind through the scenic roads of Leesburg, to the majestic Davis Mansion, once home to a prominent Virginia governor. You’ll be welcomed by the timeless charm that defines this extraordinary estate. During our guided mansion visit, you’ll explore its beautifully preserved rooms and period furnishings. You will then have an opportunity to wander freely through scenic formal gardens and nature trails. On our way home, we’ll stop at a local winery where you can toast a day well spent with a glass of wine before heading back to the College. A boxed sandwich lunch is included in the fee, but all alcohol purchases will be on your own. This tour involves walking short distances at a time and standing throughout the day with the possibility of walking longer distances through the gardens and trails if you choose.
