Learn the basic conversational skills used in American Sign Language. Topics include basic grammar structure related to the exchange of personal information, introductions, negotiation with the environment, calendar, and commands. Learn basic survival signs through demonstration. Students practice what is covered in class. This course will use the digital curriculum platform True+Way ASL. Information on how to purchase the curriculum will be provided to you a few days prior to your first class. The cost is in addition to your course fee and is expected to be less than $100.
