Designed to help students demystify the complexity of their DSLR and mirrorless cameras so they can begin to use them with understanding and intent. Participants will be introduced to their camera's symbols, buttons, and controls while also exploring the basics of the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) which is an essential part of understanding basic photography. This course will include a combination of lecture, live demonstration, and hands-on components. Students will receive a detailed packet of notes to ensure success beyond the classroom. Students should bring a DSLR camera, charged battery, memory card, and camera manual to class.
