With robots having long captured the human imagination, robotics is a branch of engineering involving the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots. And under the hood of robots are the electronics, from power systems to processors, that make them work.

Delve into the world of robotics at the Monroe Center. Explore the basics of robotics, discover motor control using Arduino, build and test transistor circuits, try 3D modeling and engineering with SolidWorks, experiment with physical computer programming and so much more.

Utilizing new technology and specialized tools, including 3-D printers and scanners and mechanical design software, our expert instructors offer flexible, affordable and convenient weekday and weekend classes with daytime and evening hour options.

Please Note: Residency fees apply ($5 per course for residents outside Frederick County and $10 per course for non-Maryland students). Learn more >>
