Child Care Career Programs
Career Preparation & Professional Development
Enjoy a rewarding career as a child care provider! Learn how to nurture, teach and care for preschool children either in your home, the homes of children’s families or in a child care center. Early child care teachers focus on care giving and attending to children’s health, safety and nutrition while organizing activities to stimulate each child’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth.
At FCC, our Human Services program includes four Child Care certificate program options. Each program course meets Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care and Maryland Child Care Credential Program requirements.
