Course Sequence Order
• CAH145 or ADE646 Foundations for Healthcare Careers
• CAH272 Fundamentals of Dental Assisting
• CAH273 Oral Radiography


Duration & Format
• Program Duration: Four-eight months
• Timing: Day and Evening classes
• Hybrid Format: In-person and online participation required

Requirements
English reading and listening skills.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support CPR card or registration in CPR Basic Life Support (SAF157).
• Oral Radiography requires dental assisting and/or dental anatomy knowledge, dental assisting experience or successful completion of a dental assisting program.

• FCC Completion Award (per course) or CEWD Workforce Training Certificate
DANB National Entry Level Dental Assistant Certification
DANB Radiation Health and Safety Certification
Maryland General Dental Assisting Certification

Receive Credit for Prior Learning Experience*
• CAH145 - Any of following certifications/licenses: CNA, CMA/CCMA (or other Medical Assistant certification), LPN, RN, EMT-B or EMT-I, CRT, AEMT or Paramedic.
• SAF157 - Current AHA Basic Life Support CPR Card valid through program end date.
