Today's expanding healthcare industry depends on Sterile Processing Technicians to keep patients safe, playing a critical behind-the-scenes role in surgical and clinical care. Develop the knowledge and skills needed to prepare, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize the medical instruments and equipment used in surgical and clinical settings, in just three months.

Instruction focuses on topics including anatomy and physiology, microbiology, instrument identification and preparation, decontamination and disinfection, infection control, storage, and distribution. Upon successful completion of this two-course series, you are eligible to sit for the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) exam through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), widely required or preferred by hospitals for employment and advancement in the field.
