Develop the skills needed to collect blood specimens, interact with patients, and perform essential laboratory procedures in hospitals, clinical labs, and diagnostic facilities.

Approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing, the program prepares you for two nationally recognized certification exams: the Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and the Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) exam through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Select credentials are eligible for academic credit conversion. Many phlebotomy technicians go on to pursue advanced roles in healthcare, including medical assisting and clinical laboratory technology.
