Become a certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist by knowing how to connect patient care to financial systems and keep healthcare organizations running. Develop the skills to accurately process billing and apply diagnostic and procedural codes across a variety of medical specialties, managing the full revenue cycle from claim submission to reimbursement.

Instruction covers medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and official coding manuals for CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS. Upon successful completion, you are eligible to sit for the AAPC Certified Professional Biller (CPB®) and AACP Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) exams through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Certification exam fee and a one-year AAPC membership are included in program costs. These credentials can lead to advancement into roles such as billing supervisor and revenue cycle analyst.
