Tree Tour of Baker Park

Baker Park boasts a wide variety of trees, including some particularly big, impressive specimens and even several "champion" trees. During this walking tour we'll visit a variety of trees, explain what makes for a champion tree, and offer some tips on identifying different tree species. This walking tour involves walking on mostly flat walkways over 1.5-2 miles at a slow pace. Rain Date – Monday, 4/14.

Please read:  This tour will be conducted in Baker Park. Listening devices will be provided so participants can hear the guide over outdoor noises. Students will be required to provide their own transportation to the meeting location. An email will be sent with trip details one week prior to the course date.
