Located at 200 Monroe Avenue in Frederick, Maryland, the Monroe Center is home to our workforce training programs, including Business, Career & Technical Training, Construction & Applied Technologies Institute (CATI), Healthcare Careers, and Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism Institute (HCTI). Schedule a group tour to visit us!

Special Notice! Summer Road Closure Near Monroe Center 
Use Monroe Center South Entrance through August 15
With a section of Monroe Avenue closed this summer for improvements (from Monocacy Boulevard to 700 feet north of Highland Street), be sure to approach Monroe Center from the South through August 15. Detour signage is in place. 


               

Note for FCPS High School Students
Frederick County Public School students may receive free tuition through Dual Enrollment at FCC for all courses. Fee and book scholarships may be available for select programs. Students should speak with their high school counselor first if they plan to enroll in an FCC workforce development course or program.


Monroe Center Group Tours
  • We welcome group tours to the Monroe Center to see our labs, visit the classrooms, meet our instructors, and more.
  • Group tours are designed for middle and high school, adult, and community groups or organizations who wish to schedule a visit with Frederick Community College, either virtually or in person.
