The rise in cybersecurity threats has led to a growing demand for skilled professionals who can proactively detect and respond to security incidents. This course is designed for individuals with experience in IT security, network security, or system administration who are seeking to advance their careers by gaining specialized skills in security analysis, monitoring, and incident response. It is also suitable for those who have foundational knowledge of networking and security concepts and want to further develop their skills in a more hands-on, analytical cybersecurity role. It will also prepare students to take the CompTIA CySA+ certification exam. Topics include threat and vulnerability management, software and systems security, security operations and monitoring, incident response, and compliance, governance, and risk. Students will gain practical knowledge and be well-equipped with the tools needed to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats and incidents in today’s complex IT environments.
