CEWD Financial Assistance
To apply for CEWD financial assistance, please complete the CEWD Financial Assistance Request Form and a College representative will contact and assist you in determining aid opportunities for which you may qualify.

FCC Foundation Scholarships
CEWD scholarships are available through the FCC Foundation. Valued at up to $500 per eligible recipient, funds can be applied toward course costs. Eligible applicants are Frederick County residents enrolled in a continuing education vocational or skills training program exemplifying academic promise and financial need. Students can apply now for:
- Building Trades Scholarship: Electrical, HVAC, and Welding
- Continuing Education Scholarship: Business & Careers, Certification & Licensure, Computers & Technology, Healthcare Careers, Hospitality, Culinary & Tourism, Logistics & Production, and Trades and Vocational Training
- Youth Program Scholarship: Kids on Campus, Teens on Campus, Lunch Bunch, All Day Programming, and SAT Prep
Frederick County Public School Students
Frederick County Public School students may receive free tuition through Dual Enrollment at FCC for all courses. Fee and book scholarships may be available for select programs. Students should speak with their high school counselor first if they plan to enroll in an FCC workforce development course or program.

Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship
CEWD students pursuing a sequence of non-credit courses that leads to licensure/certification or a registered apprenticeship program may be eligible for the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship. Students must submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) between 10/1-3/1 and complete the Promise Non-Credit Application within MDCAPS. Workforce Development Sequence Scholarships
The Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to individuals enrolling in an approved non-credited certificate program leading to apprenticeships, employment, licensure, or job skill enhancement. If you are currently enrolled, or are planning to enroll, in a designated workforce training program at Frederick Community College, this scholarship is an opportunity to receive up to $2,000 in financial assistance. - Culinary & Baking
- Dental Assistant
- Electrical

- IT User Support Specialist

Blue Collar Project Scholarships
Blue Collar Project is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate the next generation of trades professionals. The scholarship is open to students who are currently enrolled in or plan to enroll in a skilled trades profession. Scholarship proceeds can be applied towards tuition/fees, books, and class materials (work clothing, tools, etc.). Learn more and apply at bluecollarproject.org/scholarships.
Certified Nursing Assistant Program
