This weeklong exploration introduces students to the healthcare programs offered at Frederick Community College. Through immersive, hands-on lab activities and state-of-the-art simulations, participants will experience Nursing, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology, Physical Therapy Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Health & Exercise Science careers. Students will also learn about the educational requirements for a career in healthcare, including pathways for transitioning from high school into selective admissions programs.
