Welcome to Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) at Frederick Community College (FCC).
The information below details steps to access and participate in courses requiring an FCC email account and use of Blackboard Learning Management System (Blackboard), a web-based virtual learning environment, and Ed2Go, an interactive online classroom center. Accessing Your Blackboard Course
In order to participate in some CEWD courses, you will need to access your FCC Student ID and then set up an FCC email account to receive official College emails and important class information. Using this information, you will then be able to sign into Blackboard to access instructor information, course orientation, and learning materials. If you are new to Blackboard, Blackboard Instructional videos are available and feature helpful information for first-time users.
Getting Started
1. Open Blackboard at frederick.blackboard.com and click OK to accept the Terms of Use.
2. Click Frederick Community College Login.
3. Sign into Blackboard using your FCC email address and password.
4. On the My Courses tab, click on the course name to access it.
5. For additional information, view Blackboard Instructional videos designed for first-time users.

Where is my FCC Student ID number located?
Your FCC Student ID number is accessible on this website. Please note, if you are new to the College, it may take up to 24 hours following registration for your ID number to be generated. Follow these steps to access the number:
- Sign into your account on this website by clicking LogIn/Create Account (in the green bar above).
- Once signed in, click "Menu" in the green drop down menu and then click "My Profile".
- On your Profile page, in the second row of the chart, the PeopleSoft ID is your FCC Student ID.
- Make note of your FCC student ID and use it to set up an FCC email account next.

Why do I need an FCC email account and how do I set one up?
This email account, separate from your personal email used to register for class, is utilized for official College and class-related communications. To set one up, have your FCC Student ID handy and follow the steps below.
- Click on this link to set up your FCC email account (The page will open in a new window and display this message, "Get back into your account". That's ok. You're in the right place.)
- In the first box, type W and your FCC Student ID, followed by @myfcc.frederick.edu. For example, enter W1234567@myfcc.frederick.edu if your FCC Student ID is 1234567.
- Complete the CAPTCHA request and click Next.
- Follow the on screen prompts to set up a password and complete the process.
- Make note of both your FCC email address and password associated with this account.
How do I sign into my FCC email account?
Sign into your FCC email account online by following the steps below:
- Go to outlook.office365.com/mail
- Sign in using your My FCC email and password established when you set up your account.
- To reset your password, visit the FCC Password Self-Service System page

Accessing Your Ed2Go Course
Ed2Go offers a wide range of educational topics in both self-paced andinstructor-led formats. To explore current Ed2Go classes and register online, browse our current selection of online classes. After selecting a class and completing the registration process, you may quickly and easily access your Ed2Go online class(es) here on this website by following the steps below.
1. Sign into your account on this website by clicking LogIn/Create Account above.
2. After signing in, click Menu on the left-hand side of the screen to bring down the drop-down menu.
3. Click Current Registrations.
4. Locate the Ed2Go class in the list of current registrations, and click the “Go to class" link to access your class.
