Tchaikovsky, arriving towards the end of the 19th, was influenced by the sound of the “Mighty Handful,” a group of five Russian musical nationalists. In this course, you’ll learn about Tchaikovsky’s influences and composers who were influenced by him, including John Williams. We'll also discuss the history and culture of the time as it relates to the music.
