The People's Museum

Your day will begin with a bus ride into DC. We’ll drop you near the real White House where you will have time to explore the immediate area and eat lunch on your own. Then we’ll walk to The People’s House, A White House Experience. It’s a new cutting-edge educational experience located just one block from the White House. The educational museum tells the story of the Executive Mansion, its inhabitants and the people who have dedicated their careers to its functions. We’ll start your tour with a short lecture called The Working White House which will examine staff roles and people behind the scenes. You will then have the afternoon to explore the immersive exhibits before we return to the campus. This tour involves moderate walking at your own pace throughout the day. This tour does not involve a visit to the actual White House.
