Join us for an exploration of Edgar Allan Poe’s Baltimore. Our day will begin with a tour of his former residence, now a National Historic Landmark and museum. Then, enjoy a lunch of your choosing at the famous Lexington Market. Next, we will head over to Westminster Hall for a guided tour of the burial ground and catacombs, and to see Poe's gravesite and memorial. We’ll hear about the mysterious “Poe Toaster” (someone in disguise who leaves cognac and roses for the author on his birthday), as well as the rich history of the site. All entry fees are included, but lunch is on your own. Please note that the Poe house is not handicapped accessible and requires a walk-up steep stairs. Walking for this tour is very minimal.
