Students will continue to learn, build on, and practice conversation skills used in American Sign Language Beginner and Intermediate level classes. This course will focus on recognition and demonstration of more sophisticated grammatical features focusing on increasing fluency and accuracy, vocabulary, expressive and receptive fluency, mouth morphemes, and learning about deaf and hard-of-hearing culture. Students will practice what is covered in the class. There is an optional purchase of an optional digital curriculum platform called True+Way. Students will learn more about this platform on the first day of class including how to purchase it, how it works, and how you might use it as a supplemental curriculum. This course is meant for students who have taken both the Beginner (FOR300) and Intermediate (FOR303) ASL level classes. The Beginner and Intermediate classes will be offered again in the spring.
