Develop hands-on knowledge of the food industry including principles of entrepreneurship and food service management. These core concepts include developing a business plan, conducting market research, creating a menu, purchasing, and back of the house skill sets customized to students' individual goals (restaurant/catering, bakery/cafe/bistro, or food truck/ghost kitchen). Students will learn how to prepare for taking the Serv Safe Food Manager exam as well as the Entrepreneurship & Small Business Certification.
