The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential is the most widely recognized national credential in early childhood education (ECE) and is a key stepping stone on the path to career advancement. Please read:  This class is offered in partnership with Howard Community College. This class is entirely online and does not meet at specific times. Prerequisites include successful completion of the following courses: Child Growth and Development, Infant and Toddler Care, Preschool Curriculum and Activities, and Child Care Administration or 120 hours of professional education covering the CDA’s eight subject areas. Must have 350 hours of work experience working with children in an early childhood setting.
