A learning environment rich with possibilities, Makerspaces serve as gathering points where communities of new and experienced makers connect to work on real and personally meaningful projects, informed by helpful mentors and expertise, using new technologies and traditional tools.1

In our Makerspace, people with a passion for making things gather, collaborate, invent, and learn in a facility designed to fuel imagination.

About Us

Our Makerspace is located in the newly-renovated Monroe Center. Also featuring Frederick Community College state-of-the-art building trades labs, healthcare facilities, kitchen and restaurant, computer labs, and classrooms, the Monroe Center is conveniently located just north of Route 70 in Frederick County.
