The SAT and ACT tests are standardized exams you will likely encounter on your journey from high school to college. Both ACT and SAT test scores are used for college admissions decisions and awarding merit-based scholarships. Most colleges and universities will accept scores from either test, and do not favor one over the other.

The Praxis® exam, designed to measure the academic skills and subject-specific content knowledge needed for teaching, and the the ParaPro Assessment, a general aptitude test required in many states for paraprofessional certification, are both often required as elements of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations.
