EARN Maryland Grant at FCC
Training, Credentials, and Job Assistance — at No Cost to You!
Eligible Frederick County residents can now access fully funded workforce training in manufacturing and logistics. Made possible through Frederick Community College's selection for the EARN (Employment Advancement Right Now) Maryland grant program, administered by the Maryland Department of Labor.
EARN Maryland is a state-funded, industry-led program that connects job seekers with real training for real jobs. It brings together employers, colleges, and community partners so that the skills you learn lead directly to employment and career growth right here in Frederick County.

Designed for Frederick County residents ready to take the next step toward a stable, in-demand career, the program is a coordinated partnership with Frederick Community College (FCC), Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS) and the Frederick County Local Management Board (LMB). The grant funding can support up to 60 participants with training, credentials, and support services for success in securing employment in the workplace.

- GED and ESOL instruction available if needed
- Case management and job readiness coaching
- Job search assistance and paid work experience opportunities
- Wraparound support services throughout your training journey

- Mechanical Engineering Technologist
- First-Line Supervisor, Transportation & Logistics
- Biological Technician
Priority consideration is given to individuals from the ENOUGH community and those facing barriers to employment. To be considered for grant-funded training, participants must:
- Be a Frederick County resident
- Be actively seeking employment in manufacturing, logistics, or a related field
- Meet program screening criteria established by FCC and its partners
