This class will discuss the latest in brain health research. In the past 10 years, the pace of brain research has sped up in all areas, from understanding cognitive decline to identifying steps we can take to reduce our risk of dementia to developing new treatments for Alzheimer's. We will discuss epigenetic factors that affect brain health including nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress and gut health, and how optimizing these factors can assist in the prevention and potential reversal of cognitive decline.
