This survey course will discuss the factors, peoples, and communities that created today's Old Line State. How much do you really understand about this southern state with a northern sensibility? Or is it a northern state with a southern sensibility? What in its history makes it unique from the other original colonies? Is Maryland really 'America in Miniature'? These and other questions will be answered.
