Learn to edit your digital photos using the powerful Lightroom Classic from Adobe Creative Suite. In this four-part class, you will learn how to organize and manage your photos by creating a master photo file, import your organized photos into the Lightroom Library module, apply key words, flag favorites, etc. In the Develop Module, you will learn how to make not only basic edits, such as cropping and adjusting the exposure, but more advanced edits to your images, including changing to photos to black and white, fixing camera distortions, adding texture and clarity, creating virtual copies, and more. You will create Collections in Lightroom, another tool to help you quickly locate topics and favorites. Finally, you will use the tools in Lightroom to export your edited photos for various purposes, including printing and posting on social media. There will be time to work on editing your own photos as well as ones provided by the instructor. For this class, all students will need their own laptops, because you will be customizing the software in each class and saving changes and settings to your own workspace. It is also highly recommended that students have an external drive, 1tb or larger, on which to save their work and build their photo file. Prior to the first class, students will be contacted with information about how to download and install Lightroom Classic on their own computer.
