In this course, students will receive hands-on flow cytometer training and learn the skills needed to advance their career in the cell and gene therapy industry. Lectures and hands-on labs will focus on the principles of flow cytometry, sample preparation, acquisition and data analysis, as well as isolation of T cells, T cell activation, using fluorescent microscopes, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
