Travel to Baltimore to visit the B&O Railroad Museum. During a guided tour, we’ll learn about the history of the historic engines, finishing the tour with a Mile One Express train ride. You will also have time to explore the museum on your own. Lunch will be on your own at the nearby Lexington Market, the oldest continuously running market in the United States, where there are a variety of food vendors to satisfy every taste. As we head back west, we’ll stop at Baltimore & Ohio Ellicott City Train Museum for a glimpse inside. Built in 1831, it is the oldest station in America and provided a link to Frederick. This tour involves walking short distances at a time and standing throughout the day including walking on possible uneven pavement while in Ellicott City.
