Arlington National Cemetery is one of the most famous cemeteries in the world, best known for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and as the final resting place of President John F. Kennedy. On this journey, you will explore all aspects of the cemetery—from its connection to America’s first family, to its origins, traditions, and rich, colorful history. Few people understand how the cemetery operates or the protocols behind its daily activities. Perhaps most fascinating are the stories and personal histories of the service members who will spend eternity here in honored glory. A boxed sandwich lunch is included in the fee. Extensive walking is expected along undulating pathways and hills for approximately 2.5 miles with breaks. All areas are accessible to individuals with limited disabilities.
