The course will explore the foundational building blocks for quality photographic composition. The visual grammatical rules for arranging content within the camera's viewfinder are well known and can be applied within minutes of learning them. This course will explain the importance of directional light, rule of thirds, layering the geometry of objects within the photograph, as well as many other tools for making pictures more appealing. It is recommended that students complete a camera and photography basics class before enrolling. Bring your camera to class for hands on training.
