Join local artist Juliet Gilden for a unique lecture and discussion series that celebrates iconic women, past and present, who have helped shape culture, politics, and the arts. In each session, Juliet will share a selection of her original painted portraits of these women and speak about the creative choices behind each piece, from symbolism and color to gesture and mood. Together, the group will explore the lives and legacies of these women, engage in meaningful conversation, and reflect on the power of visual storytelling in honoring history and empowering future generations. No art experience necessary. Consider the following companion class: ACR617, Stylized Painting: Whimsical Expression on Canvas.
