Develop techniques and experiment with new ideas and forms by spending time creating pottery in a state-of-the-art ceramics’ facility. Enrolling in open studio hours allows you to work in a creative energetic environment that will foster the development of your artwork. There will be no formal instruction, but supervision will be provided. Students are required to have taken a prior pottery class (preferably Pottery I at FCC) and be familiar with the studio environment. Clay will be purchased through the bookstore either online or in person with a maximum purchase of 50 lbs. All orders will be stored in the studio. Please plan to show proof of purchase during the first session. Students will also have access to decorative, consumable items available in the studio. Consumable items will be available to you at no additional cost.
