Babysitters are always in high demand, and this class will equip you with the essential skills to succeed in the role. The one-day Safe Sitter® course is designed for teens ages 11-15 who are eager to learn how to care for themselves and younger children. Topics include babysitting business tips, childcare basics, sitter safety, injury management, and handling challenging behavior. Participants will also learn life-saving techniques such as infant and child choking rescue, as well as child CPR. Please note that a completion card will only be issued to students who have fulfilled all contact hour requirements by the end of the class.

Please read:  Students will eat in the Cougar Café with KOC students. All lunches should contain non-perishable items or packaging that ensures safety without refrigeration. While we take precautions to ensure a safe and clean environment, we cannot provide an environment completely free of food allergens that may trigger allergies, including but not limited to nuts, wheat, soy, or eggs. Parents/guardians who enroll a student with severe dietary allergies in the Kids on Campus program assume all risks and responsibilities. This class will meet on campus in an in-person environment.
