This course considers the underlying reason for the adoption of the 4th Amendment premise of an inalienable right of citizens to be protected from unreasonable searches and seizures and its reliance on probable cause and warrants. In this course, we'll trace together the adaptations that have been fashioned to continue those protections from changes in technology from telegraph to telephone to heat sensing materials and drones.
