The practice of the Four Immeasurables - the cultivation of loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity - opens our own hearts and deepens our relationship to others. This course introduces students to Buddhist mindfulness meditation practices as well as techniques for incorporating the results of these practices into our everyday lives. It includes guided meditation and lively dialogues. The fruition lies in beginning to realize our kinship with all of humanity.

Students must be able to access the course from your own computer/tablet using a link that will be emailed at least one business day prior to the course start. Only students who have paid the course fee and are officially on the class roster, may join the online class session. Students should purchase the following books prior to class: At Home in the World: Stories and Essential Teachings from a Monk's Life by Thich Nhat Hahn and The Places That Scare You: A Guide to Fearlessness in Difficult Times by Pema Chodron. Books can be purchased online or at most bookstores.
