With at least a 1000 species of moths in Frederick County, we have much to explore. This introduction course will include classroom time to study lifecycles, anatomy, nomenclature and identification, and time outdoors to apply that knowledge. SPECIAL NOTE: Class session #1 and #2 will be held during the daytime hours in a classroom on the FCC campus. During the evening of class session #2, students will meet from 8:30-10:30 pm at a yet to be determined location in Frederick County. The instructor will utilize a special light setup to attract moths. Students will provide their own transportation to the site. The rain date for the evening session is July 30.
