How many plants can fit into different shaped pots? How many heads and feet are on how many pets in your home? Play with numbers, explore how they grow, understand negative numbers, and find out how secret number tricks work. Create patterns and graphs in this distance learning experience that looks a lot like algebra, because it is! Materials needed for this class include a pencil, paper, scissors, playing cards, 6-sided dice, toothpicks, counters (beans, LEGOs®, pennies, or any small items), and a 4-function calculator. Students will also need to print PDF files provided by the instructor. All supplies will be the responsibility of the student.
