This unique non-credit course was developed for adults with developmental disabilities to support their ability to function more independently at home, at work, and in the community. Practice your rhyming skills and learn to play with language when you read Green Eggs and Ham, a classic book written by Dr. Suess. Invent your own Suess-inspired words and learn what it takes as a writer to build a rhythm with your words. Activities also include drawing and other art related projects. Students should be able to read and comprehend at a second-grade level. Materials needed for this class include a copy of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess, a notebook, crayons, and pencils. All supplies will be the responsibility of the student.
