This unique non-credit course was developed for adults with developmental disabilities to support their ability to function more independently at home, at work, and in the community. Why do popsicles melt? Why do soft drinks fizz and cause you to burp? Why do apples turn brown? Why do Mentos make an explosion when you place them in liquid? Explore answers to these questions and more as you learn about chemistry using everyday objects and food sources in this hands-on class. You’ll discover some awesome experiments that will amaze and delight your family and friends.
