Reading opens up your world to new places, people, and ideas. Improve your reading, vocabulary and comprehension skills through discussion, reading excerpts and brief writing exercises. Recognize important supporting details, identify the main idea, and follow the sequence of events to discover the end of the story. This unique non-credit course was developed for adults with developmental disabilities to support their ability to function more independently at home, at work, and in the community.
