« back to classes page
Pillowcases are easy to make and have a professional finish that looks even better than anything you can buy in a store. Learn how to construct pillowcases that coordinate with your bedroom decor, team colors, or your favorite motifs. The fabric selection is limitless. You will learn how to make a standard size pillowcase but with the written instructions you'll receive you will be able to make any size you need for future projects or gifts. We suggest that you either take Sewing In A Nutshell as a pre-requisite or already have proficiency operating a sewing machine prior to taking the course. Students will be required to bring a non-directional quilter's cotton fabric of their choice. Further details on the fabric type will be provided to the students at least one week prior to the start of the course. Supply costs may vary based on fabric choice but average $25/student.
