Join us as we travel the Far East and are introduced to various Asian cuisines from China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Focus will be on traditional dishes with new flavors but using standard sauce ingredients. Chef Woo Can will demonstrate how easy and simple these Asian dishes are to make. Hearty meals that taste good using ingredients from your local markets specifically "H Mart" in Frederick.
We'll venture into new types of vegetables, frozen goodies, learn about stir frying, what goes into making hot chili oil sauces, and cutting and slicing techniques. And we'll learn some facts about Asian food. Chef Woo Can will share his experiences in the food industry and his passion for cooking. Each session will include the recipe being made including all ingredients and sauces used for your future reference. This course is mostly a demonstration course with some interactive cooking. Remember, "If Chef Woo Can, You Can Too.”
