Designed to help those in need of developing a system for managing and storing digital image files. Participants will be instructed on one solid way to organize their files but will be offered multiple considerations so that everyone can make choices that best suit their sensibilities. Concepts covered will include file organization, external vs. internal hard drives, key wording, image rating, understanding metadata and file extensions (jpeg, NEF, CR2, Tiff, etc.), and a very brief introduction to Adobe Creative Suite as it relates to cataloguing.

Please read:  This class will take place in a computer lab but students are encouraged to bring their own laptop with images already loaded or they may bring a USB, flash drive, or external drive with images. This course will meet on campus in an in-person environment.
