« back to classes page
Early English settlers to Frederick brought with them Christmas celebration customs including the yule log, wassail, and carols. We’ll develop an appreciation for Old England as we examine how Victorian customs impacted Christmas celebrations and decorations in the United States. We will also look at the writer Charles Dickens and his notable work, A Christmas Carol, and the impact it made both here and abroad.
