Capitol Hill is one of the most storied and visited sites in Washington DC. Our tour includes a docent lead tour of the U.S. Capitol Building to see the Crypt, Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall. We will also tour the Library of Congress for a guided walking tour of the historic Thomas Jefferson Building, where you’ll marvel at the symbolic art and architecture. Finally, we head to the Supreme Court for a first and second floor tour to view the John Marshall statue, portraits and busts, and self-supporting marble staircases. This part of the tour is self-guided. Lunch is on your own at the U.S. Capitol Cafeteria. Please note that this tour does not include visiting the Senate and House Galleries and the Supreme Court courtroom. This tour involves moderate walking and standing.
