Learn the basic conversational skills used in American Sign Language. Topics include basic grammar structure related to the exchange of personal information, introductions, negotiation with the environment, calendar, and commands. Learn basic survival signs through demonstration. Students practice what is covered in class. There is an optional purchase of the digital curriculum platform True+Way. You will learn more about this platform on the first day of class including how to purchase it, how it works, and how you might use it as a supplemental curriculum.
