Designed for those interested in writing short stories, this course explores the many aspects of storytelling. We will delve into the fundamentals of story writing by examining what works in stories already out in the world so that when you put pen to paper you can develop engaging characters, build compelling plots, and create immersive settings. Through constructive feedback sessions and peer review, you will refine your writing style and receive guidance on how to captivate your readers. In addition, sessions on editing and revision will help you polish your work and develop a keen editorial eye. The goal is to help you continue along your writing journey with confidence. A blank page can be intimidating; there will be writing prompts and practical exercises to help jump start your imagination.
