For young students who are beginning their study of an instrument, this course provides small group instruction in basic technique and music theory. Individual instrument skills will be emphasized. Young musicians will get a solid foundation from which they can pursue their interests and expand their abilities. Students must provide their own instrument.

Please read:  This class is open to 4th and 5th grade students currently participating in their school music program as well as students without access to a school program who are in their first year of study. This course will meet on campus in an in-person environment.
